METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT INGUINAL CANAL COMBINED PLASTIC REPAIR WITHOUT TENSION Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves transferring spermatic cord into prepiretoneal cellular tissue. Narrow lateral part of inguinal space is removed by suturing free interior oblique and transverse muscle end to the inguinal ligament. The remaining free space of medial inguinal space is covered with polypropylene net rag cut out corresponding to shape and size requirements. The rag is sutured to anterior surface of the internal oblique muscle in the upper part and to the inguinal ligament in the lower part. The rag is cut in the internal angle with linear incision from top to down 3-4 cm far from the internal rag edge to the middle of the superoinferior size. The whole spermatic cord is enveloped with the cut halves and fixed to deep direct muscle sheath leaf. New deep canal ring is formed for the spermatic cord from the polypropylene net. New superficial inguinal canal aponeurotic ring is produced in deep ring projection.

EFFECT: prevented spermatic cord flexion; avoided spermatic cord ingrowths into cicatricial tissue.
