FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely herniology. The technique involves dissection of aponeurosis of abdominal external oblique muscle and formation of cavity thereunder to place mesh prosthesis. Inguinal ligament and spermatic cord are separated. Hernial sac is separated. The mesh prosthesis is arranged longitudinally with dissecting from one end under spermatic cord and suturing its bottom edge to inguinal ligament, while medial edge is sutured to pubic spine and pyramidal muscle. Superior edge is fixed with stitching flaps of the mesh prosthesis including with abdominal internal oblique muscle in lateral direction from spermatic cord. Superior edge of mesh prosthesis is fixed to medial flap of aponeurosis of abdominal external oblique muscle from its internal side along the line thereto said aponeurosis is separated from abdominal internal oblique muscle. Herewith suturing is delivered inside-out and tied up on external surface of aponeurosis of abdominal external oblique muscle.
EFFECT: elimination of covering iliohypogastric and ilioinguinal nerves and branches thereof in hernia repair, and as consequence, postoperative abatement.
