FIELD: aviation; convertible helicopters capable of rescuing the crew and passengers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed convertible helicopter has fuselage with tail section, main wing, rotor with horizontal motion motor, vertical climb drive, three bearing wheels and cargo parachute. Two coaxial vertical climb rotors are located under main wing of fuselage between front and rear wings mounted symmetrically relative to vertical climb drive axis. When motor of vertical climb drive is idle, rotor blades are supported by limiting rings. In case of failure of motors and damage to blades, helicopter is gliding for bailing-out of passenger and crew. In case it is impossible to escape from helicopter, landing is performed with the aid of cargo parachute with pyro cartridge.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of lifesaving.
