FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for vibration isolation of processing equipment. Proposed vibration isolator with variable damping structure contains housing with fitted-in rod and piston. Vibration isolated mass held by springs is secured on end of rod. Dry-friction damper is made in form of friction bushing with limiting stops on end faces whose inner surface is in contact with piston, thus forming friction pair, friction coefficient f1. Outer surface of bushing is in contact with at least two additional friction elements, thus forming friction pair, friction coefficient f2. Adjusting screws provided pressing of friction elements to bushing. Said adjusting screws are coupled with slave servo motor, for instance, worm type, with self-braking transmission. Signal to switch on servomotor is sent by microprocessor which controls operation of dry-friction damper according to preset characteristic and is coupled with vibration acceleration transducer, for instance, piezocrystal one.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of vibration isolation.
