FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designing new higher power gear trains. The proposed gear train consists of a driving and driven gears with teeth on the surface. The driving gear teeth are pivoted cylindrical rolls rigidly attached at the U-shaped posts and rigidly coupled with the driving gear, the rolls being fitted with an equal pitch and arranged so that to allow an easy removal. The driving gear upper surface has blind dovetail slots. The said slots accommodate the posts of a similar shape. The driven gear has the cells arranged with the pitch equal to that of the driven gear teeth and accommodating curvilinear inserts with their concave radius equal to the radius of camber of the driving wheel rolls. Above the driven wheel, a ring with rectangular orifices is arranged, the orifices covering the cells to prevent the inserts from dropout.
EFFECT: ruling out the driving wheel teeth slipping in engagement with driven wheel and lower contact strain.
