FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating metastasis foci with CO2 laser by applying laser radiation power of 4.5-5 W. Produced wound bed is covered with ointment layer. The ointment contains 2% of chlorine row photosensitizer with anhydrous lanolin making up the rest. Residual ointment is removed after 3-3.5h long exposure without access of light. Spectral fluorescent diagnostic wound bed examination is carried out. Fluorescence being detected, the wound bed is treated with single laser radiation field at a dose of 600 J/cm2 with wavelength corresponding to photosensitizer light absorption maximum. When irradiating the wound bed, laser radiation field diameter is equal to 1.5-2.5 cm.
EFFECT: achievable complete or partial metastasis regression; reduced risk of dissemination from metastasis foci.
