FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for intraoperative photodynamic therapy in combined treatment of locally disseminated soft tissue sarcomas. Method involves administering to patient 2-3 hours before operation of chlorine E6 photosensitizer in water-soluble dosage form once in form of intravenous drop infusion of 0.8-1.5 mg/kg, surgical removal of the tumor, after which the tumor bed is irradiated by means of a fiber-optic catheter with a microlens, wherein laser radiation power at the output of the catheter is from 1 to 2.5 W, power density of the laser radiation is 0.08-0.28 W/cm², wavelength is 662 nm. If the patient has primary neoplasms, the dose of laser irradiation is 80 J/cm² if the recurrent new growths are 80-100 J/cm².

EFFECT: disclosed method enables higher clinical effectiveness in soft tissue sarcomas, considerably reduces the risk of viable tumor cells in the surgical field and dissemination of tumor cells during removal of the new growth and reduces the risk of recurrences and metastases.
