FIELD: measurements, possible use for con noncontact control of liquid levels in vessels.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, number of control signals No is counted, which are sent by control system and required for charging capacitor Cp and following discharge of previously charged capacitor Co to threshold voltage Up, set by control system. Number of control signals Nx is counted, which are sent by control system and are required for charging capacitor Cx with following discharge of previously charged capacitor Cp down to threshold value Up, set by control system. Number of control signals Nx is compared to their standard value No. Resulting difference indicates presence of conductive or dielectric environment in the space surrounding the capacitor Cx.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
