FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to supply of rolling stock pneumatic systems with compressed air. Proposed adsorption plant contains compressor 1 with drive electric motor 2, controlled by pressure relay 3. Series-connected to compressor 1 are check valve 4, heat exchanger 5, two parallel-connected adsorbers 6, 7 with normally open cutoff valves 8, 9 at inlet, normally closed blow down valves 10, 11 in lower part and check valves 16, 17 at outlet of each adsorber 6, 7. Plant is furnished also with dry air main line 18 with air collector 19, regenerated air main line 20 with restrictor and electronic control unit 34. Regenerated air main line 20 is provided with normally closed cutoff valve 22, 24 from side of outlet of each adsorber 6, 7. Vortex tube 26 is installed parallel to regenerated air main line 20 between cutoff valves 22, 24. Hot end of tube 26 is connected through restrictor to cutoff valves 22, 24, and cold end of tube is connected to suction branch pipe of compressor 1, and by compressed air delivery branch pipe 27, through normally closed cutoff valve 28, to dry air main line 18. Plant is furnished with balancing main line 30 connected parallel to adsorbers 6, 7 and provided with normally closed cutoff valve 32 with restrictor 31.
EFFECT: increased economy, improved efficiency and reliability of adsorption plant.
