FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: tentering apparatus for running of belts without creases in closed chambers has two immovable supporting bodies oriented toward one another at an obtuse angle in medium plane. Roll sections are positioned at both sides of medium plane on supporting bodies, said roll sections having surfaces made in the form of truncated cone and moving upon rotation to positions, wherein cone generatrices coincide with one another. Roll surfaces are continuously oriented toward one another, and groups of rolls rest through roller bearings upon both supporting bodies. Roll sections arranged at both sides of medium plane, respectively, consist of at least two parts designed for independent rotation. During operation, before filling of vacuum chamber, gas is introduced into bearing zone in order to prevent solid bodies from penetration into bearing zone.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to reduced velocity difference upon stretching of belts, reduced possibility of forming scratches on belts, provision for precise and free running of belts.
