FIELD: transport; crossings of railways and motor roads.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rail crossing has base, ties placed on base with fitted on rails, and rubber plates arranged on ties from both sides of each rail and connected by wood screws with ties. Rail crossing is provided with rubber plate locks in form of vertical projections stationary secured on supports found on ties. Each lock is located in vertical through hole made in rubber plate. Nut with threaded hole is secured in each said hole higher than lock. Threaded hole of each nut is designed for engagement with bolt to be turned in when demounting rubber plate, or for engagement with ring bolt turned into threaded hole after demounting of plate, ring-bolts are designed for engagement with hooks of hooks of hook grip used in transportation of rubber plates. Bevels are made on side surfaces of adjacent rubber plates pointed to each other. Destruction of edges of plates in mounting of new plate is precluded as and adjacent previously installed plates do not come in contact owing to provision of bevels. Invention makes it possible to built rail crossing with reduced labor input and cost of demounting of rubber plates at replacement during repairs of rail crossing. Invention facilities and reduces labor input at mounting owing to use of simple means, prevents longitudinal shifting of rubber plates at operation of rail crossing. Moreover, destruction of edges of rubber plates at mounting is prevented.
EFFECT: reduced labor input and cost of rail crossing.
