FIELD: data mapping.

SUBSTANCE: liquid crystal cell of screen has thermoelement along total internal surface of one or both walls. Thermoelement is made of two layers of transparent current-conducting materials, which layers protrude areas of liquid crystal layer. Current induced at voltage application between layers of thermoelement causes, due to Peltier effect, cooling or heating of films disposed at area of contact, namely, along total area of liquid crystal. For reflecting liquid crystal element version, thermoelement disposed onto internal surface of rare (nontransparent) wall can be made of non-transparent materials and it can be disposed under reflecting layer.

EFFECT: uniform cooling of liquid crystal layer along total area of screen.
