FIELD: magnetic or electrostatic separation.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic separator comprises magnetizing system composed of magnetizing units and members of magnetic circuit arranged in series. The members have joining bases and pole tips-projections. The fluid to be cleaned flows around the tips-projections. The magnetizing units of the separator abut against each of non-peripheral members of the magnetic circuit on both sides to define a chain of magnetic circuits of alternating direction. Each of the magnetic circuit member is provided with at least two projections set in the fluid flow. The projections of the magnetic circuit members differ in height and are mounted for permitting rotation around the common axis.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
