FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for registering remote volumetric objects has photoreceiving unit which has objective and transmitting TV camera. Device also has control, programming and data processing units and video-receiving unit. Device is provided with second photoreceiving unit mounted together with first photoreceiving unit onto adjustable mechanical base connected with actuating mechanism, which is connected with one output of control unit. Mirror-prism units are mounted onto optical axes of photoreceiving units. Mirror-prism units have drives connected with corresponding outputs of control unit. Inputs and outputs of control unit are connected with inputs-outputs of programming unit which has output connected with input of video-receiving unit through data processing unit. Transmitting TV cameras on base of linear CCDs are mounted in photoreceiving units connected with corresponding inputs of programming unit. Mirror-prism units rotate at fixed angle pitch being equal to half angular value of sensitive element of transmitting TV camera made on base of linear CCD. Two frames of TV images are superposed onto each other to have permanent fixed shift of one frame relatively other, which shift equals to one line along height of frame or to one column. Field of view is increased due to realization of panoramic rotation of axis of sight.
EFFECT: increased field of view; improved resolution; wider range of operation.
