FIELD: agriculture, in particular, technique for thermal processing of liquid products by heating.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing and rotor made in the form of planar disk and inserted into casing so as to define gap therebetween. Casing and rotor surfaces facing one another are provided with cells. Apparatus is further equipped with inlet and outlet branch pipes for product to be pasteurized. Casing and rotor are made hollow. Cells provided on rotor operating surface are arranged in helical rows running from center to periphery oriented in direction of rotation of rotor and are connected with one another in each row through channels provided on rotor surface. Casing is formed as cup having bottom joined to rotor surface. Cup bottom is also provided with cells of said similar shape equally spaced from one another and arranged in concentric rows along adjacent radii corresponding to position of rotor cells.
EFFECT: intensified thermal processing of liquid product, increased capacity and efficiency of apparatus.
