FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting rectangular hydrogel implant to its middle into three equal width parts. The outer strips are shortened by 1/3-1/2 of their length. Sclera is laminated beginning from vascular tunic in upper bed part after having done nonpenetrating deep sclerectomy. The hydrogel implant is laid with its uncut end onto the place of removed anterior Shlemm canal wall and formed bed. The shortened strips of the other end are immersed into supraciliary and suprachoroid space.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in creating reliable intraocular fluid discharge via posterior and anterior ways in remote postoperative period.
