FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and can be used for the surgical management of open-angle glaucoma. A conjuctival flap is separated. A scleral flap is cut out with a base facing a limb to transparent layers of cornea. A triangular layer is formed inside the formed bed of middle layers of the sclera. A corneoscleral tape including an outer wall of Schlemm's canal and peripheral layers of the corneal stroma is excised to open the limbal edge of Descemet's membrane leaving an anterior chamber unexposed. An elastic film of elastic film is inserted under the conjunctive on the superficial scleral flap within the anti-glaucomatous surgery. The film is intraoperatively cut out so that its edges are found not less than 3.0 mm from the scleral flap edges, except for the limb region. The film is stretched and tightly fixed in the subconjunctival pocket along the edges to the sutures that is followed by suturing the conjunctiva.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of cystic changes of the conjunctiva in the remote postoperative period.
