SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmosurgery and can be used for implanting a film drain tube in the surgical treatment of glaucoma. An outer part of the drain tube is cut out in size exceeding that of a superficial scleral flap, so that folding the drain tube as a duplex, edges of at least one of its leaves is further than 3.0mm from the borders of the scleral flap; a border of an inner part of the drain tube is brought out of a distal end of the fixed superficial scleral flap, while a hole is created in the episcleral leaf of the duplex of the outer part of the drain tube; the borders of the outer part of the drain tube are delivered through the above hole; the drain tube is arranged between the leaves of the duplex of the outer part of the drain tube; thereafter a conjunctival part of the drain tube is extended and when tightened, sutured on the periphery.

EFFECT: method enables prolonging the therapeutic effect.
