FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: combined surgical method for treatment of glaucoma combined with cataract involves conjunctiva incision, conjunctiva and Tenon's shell separation from the sclera, scleral flap shearing base to the scleral sulcus, penetrating scleroticectomy, cataract extraction, flap suturing by interrupted sutures. At that, longitudinal parallel cuts are made on the sclera surface left scleral flap shearing, four strips are formed, the distal strip is cut out from the choroid to the ciliary body and placed into a tunnel formed in the suprachoroidal space with a spatula, where intraocular fluid outflow is created through the uveoscleral path. The middle strip of the remaining three is completely separated, exposing the ciliary body surface and creating an additional way for the outflow from the eyeball anterior chamber.
EFFECT: method implementation provides stable hypotensive effect, reduces the number of complications, and prevents application of donor and artificial material.
