FIELD: manufacture of cast pieces in metallurgy, machine engineering and other branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: cast iron is poured to metal receptacle lined with refractory material. Cast iron is subjected to desulfurizing and dephosphorizing due to blowing into melt fine powder of CaO and then powder of CaC2. Treated melt is displaced to working cavity of casting mold and it is soaked for crystallization of melt in mold under pressure. Blast furnace cast iron is alloyed in addition with aluminum-magnesium alloy.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, reduced cost price of castings used in machine engineering.
