SEAPLANE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B64C35/00

Abstract RU 2305650 C1

FIELD: maritime aviation; rescue at sea.

SUBSTANCE: proposed seaplane has fuselage narrowing downward with pallet widening upward. Size of wide part of pallet exceeds that of narrow part of fuselage. Laid between fuselage and pallet is spherical sealing gasket. Walls of fuselage are connected by means of strip at distance from bottom equal to height of pallet. Walls at top of pallet are connected by means of strip. Studs screwed into holes in strips have right-hand and left-hand threads. Heads of studs are fastened with spindles of power nut-drivers which are connected with air selector switch found on control panels in pilot's cabin by means of hoses. Air selector switch is connected with compressor of turbo-jet engine by means of hose. Pallet walls are hermetically connected with additional walls made from flexible material; they have holes with spring-loaded valves connected with air selector switch by means of hoses. Pallet walls have holes with spring-loaded valves fitted with levers engageable with wedge-shaped plate secured on fuselage strip.

EFFECT: reduction of size of fuselage lower part due to reduced size of pallet.
