FIELD: integrated-circuit electronics and nuclear physics; instant-response protection of aerospace-system on-board radio electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device capable of two-fold reduction of maximal operating current of protective gear in the course of its build-up upon occurrence of thyristor effect due to ingress of heavy charged particle by eliminating input current component resulting from total accumulated dose of space radiation impact has current sensor inserted between input terminal and electronic switch whose output functions as device output. Current sensor is connected between first and second inputs of its signal amplifier whose first and second outputs are connected to inputs of voltage comparator; the latter is connected to R input of RS flip-flop given priority in acting on R input. Flip-flop S input is connected to pulse train generator characterized in high relative pulse duration. Flip-flop first output is connected to control input of electronic switch and second one, to base of high-power n-p-n transistor whose collector is connected to device output and emitter, to common bus.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of integrated-circuit protective gear.
