FIELD: mobile communication system of WCDMA standard, in particular, method for selecting transport formats, corresponding to transport channels.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, MAC level does not search whole table of transport formats, which stores all available transport formats, for transport format each time, when transport format for transport channel is selected. MAC level selects transport formats, having size of transport blocks, corresponding to size of data blocks, which should be transmitted after sorting of logical channels, used for data transmission, in accordance to their priorities.
EFFECT: search time, required for selection of transport format at MAC level, is minimized.
