SUBSTANCE: system includes servicing base station, client station and a set of neighboring base stations, adjacent to the servicing base station. Method for transferring service of client station during receipt of service transfer call from client station in broadband wireless access communication system includes stages of: a) receipt of information from servicing base station about neighboring base stations; b) measurement of values of ratio of signal on carrier to interference and noise for pilot signals, transferred from adjacent base stations, during receipt of information of adjacent base station; c) transfer of service transfer request signal to servicing base station together with information about values of ratio of signal on carrier to interference and noise for pilot signals of adjacent base stations; d) after receiving the service transfer request signal, receipt of information from servicing base station about target base station allowing service transfer and being part of adjacent base stations; and e) execution of function of service transfer from servicing base station to target base station.
EFFECT: development of service transfer system, which takes inactive state into consideration, and provided communication service execution mode for ensuring mobility of client station in IEEE 802.16e communication system.
