FIELD: medicine; medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to radio thermography based upon non-invasive reveal of temperature anomalies of internal tissues of biological object due to measuring of intensity of their own electromagnet radiation. Aerial-applicator has section of waveguide, closed at one, which waveguide is partially or totally filled with dielectric material and dielectric plate disposed at opposite open end of waveguide's section; dielectric plate communicates with biological object. There is space between dielectric plate and dielectric matter, which fills waveguide in. Space is filled with air or another dielectric material with low heat conductance and low electric permeability. Electromagnet wave excitation system is disposed in waveguide between closed end of waveguide and dielectric and it is connected with input part of radiometer. According to other version, aerial-applicator has section of internal waveguide, partially or totally filled with dielectric material, and section of external waveguide disposed from outside section of internal waveguide. Space between sections of internal and external waveguides is partially or totally filled with dielectric material. Sections of internal and external waveguides are closed at one ends; opposite open end of internal and external waveguides is brought in contact with biological object. Aerial -applicator may additionally have matching member disposed at open end of waveguide; matching member is applied onto dielectric material by means of metallization. Temperatures can be measured in rooms without special screening.

EFFECT: improved efficient deepness of measurement of internal temperature; reduced effect of aerial's temperature onto results of measurement.
