FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to radio thermometry, and can be used to determine temperature changes of internal tissues of a biological object. Disclosed is antenna-applicator, in which in open end of waveguide there is a focusing dielectric lens in contact with biological object. Cylindrical waveguide section is filled with dielectric with dielectric permeability close to dielectric permeability of analyzed body, wherein the dielectric lens forms a focusing element which provides focusing of the antenna pattern at a given distance on the analyzed abnormality. Applicator antenna is also proposed, in which a metal tube section is required for shielding elements of the receiving system from external interference. Antenna-applicator comprises an antenna system in the form of a phased antenna array (PAA) receiving signals emitted by the body, a PAA antenna signal summation system made in the form of a symmetric microstrip structure. At the same time connection of inputs of summing system with PAA elements is carried out through metallized holes in ceramics or through resonant slots. At that, external metallized side of symmetric microstrip system is connected to housing by means of multi-petal contact spring washer. At that, the microstrip summing system provides the necessary phase delays of the summable signals in order to focus the PAA beam at a given distance, wherein antenna-applicator comprises microwave absorbing layer, which acts as screen and suppression of antenna sidelobes.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides improved resolution and high level of the received signal from a specific (predetermined) detection depth of inhomogeneities in the biological object.
