FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device has antenna on the end and dielectric casing enveloping the antenna serving as resonator on given working frequency covering near-field antenna radiation. Dielectric permeability of the casing is to be in concordance to given living tissue permeability. Method for introducing radiation into biological substance by means of applicator involves satisfying resonance conditions on working frequency in dielectric casing volume and transforming near-field antenna radiation energy into radiation forward along longitudinal applicator axis. The antenna surrounded with the dielectric casing ends in rounded end piece part.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of applicator usage; reduced level of loss into the surrounding space.
