FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, working large surfaces of parts.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes needle milling cutters and drive disc. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities, to enhance efficiency of working due to combining finish and rough working operations, to improve roughness degree of worked surface and to increase useful life period of needle milling cutters, tool is provides with individual drive units for needle milling cutters whose number is at least equal to four. Needle milling cutters are mounted along periphery of drive disc in diametrically opposite places and they are designed for milling at speed of longitudinal feed of blank determined according to given formula depending upon diameter of needle milling cutters, their quantity and revolution number of drive disc.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, enhanced efficiency of working, improved roughness degree of worked surface, increased useful life period of needle milling cutters, their simplified mounting-dismounting operations.
