FIELD: silicate materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enamels used to coat articles of cast iron, steel, and alloys based on nickel, cobalt, manganese, chromium, and other metals. Enamel of invention is composed, wt %: SiO2 20-27, B2O3 14-20, P2O5 5-7, Na2O 16-20, TiO2 4.5-6.5, Cr2O3 1.5-2.5, CaO 4-6, MnO2 2-3, BaO 20-22.
EFFECT: improved quality of enameled articles and reduced consumption of enamel.
