FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed for use in heating systems. It relates to piston compressors in which compression of gas is provided by electrohydraulic hammer in liquid. Proposed compressor contains cylinder, piston arranged inside cylinder, hydraulic drive, distributing unit, gas lines, system of valves and intake high pressure chamber. Cylinder has concave base, and hole is made in cylinder cover provided with seal to pass cylinder rod. Piston is furnished with compression spring arranged along rod between cover and surface of rod. Cylinder space lower than piston is partially filled with water, communicating through hose with outer reservoir through regulating valve. Electrodes are placed in water inside cylinder being connected to power supply system generating high-voltage pulses. Hose is made flexible, and outer reservoir is installed on elastic bellows whose inner space communicates through hose with intake high-pressure chamber. Reservoir is made in form of vessel with variable in height area of filling water.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased efficiency.
