FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine contains microcontroller, supply system, power cylinders with working liquid and at least one pair of electrodes installed for automatic adjustment of gap between ends of electrodes dipped into liquid by means of controllable drive mechanism making it possible to decrease wear of electrodes and change parameters of discharge to adjust output power of engine. Invention makes it possible to create economical and reliable engine by optimum selection of density and conductivity of working liquid and length of gap.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
