FIELD: nondestructive testing of pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: defectoscope comprises cylindrical container that represents a magnetic circuit, poles of the permanent magnet mounted on its front and back sections, brush-magnetic circuits mounted in radial directions between the poles of the permanent magnet and pipeline, bearing members made of flexible collars with wheels that are arranged outside of the magnet poles, and concentric row of the sheets with plates interposed between the poles of the permanent magnet. Each of the sheets is provided with defectoscopy pickups for measuring the intensity of magnetic field of the pipeline. The container receives the electronic unit that has recording appliances and power source. The wheel odometers are mounted in the back section of the container.
