FIELD: transport engineering; mirrors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of manufacture of heated mirrors used in automobiles and providing safety of the road and it can be used vehicles of all types and as mirror heating panels for heating of rooms. Proposed method comes to forming reflecting layer on glass backing in vacuum chamber in argon medium at pressure of 0.2-0.3 Pa, and layer of oxide in argon and oxygen medium at pressure of 0.2-0.3 Pa by magnetron spraying and securing of electric contacts. Layers are formed on rear side of backing. Reflecting layer is formed of aluminum, thickness 100-300 nm and then, at a pressure of 0.1-0.3 Pa, oxygen is fed into vacuum chamber to form barrier layer of aluminum oxide, thickness 2-3 nm, and then current-carrying layer is from oxide, for this purpose tin oxide is used, thickness 150-200 nm, and contacts are secured on current carrying layer.
EFFECT: provision of heated mirror with high value of reflection coefficient.
