Feedstuff for female puppies contains from 0.25 weight% up to 0.35 weight% methionine, from 0.45 weight% up to 0.70 weight% sulfur-containing amino acids and fat that comprises above 25% of all calories being the feedstuff mentioned. The innovation refers to the method for increasing body weight and growth in puppies dealing with comprising and introducing the feedstuff for puppies in which the quantity of calories for lipids and the quantity of methionine and total quantity of sulfur-containing should be matched according to the puppies' sex. The innovation enables to obtain maximized increase of body weight and body length in each sex in puppies.
