FIELD: enhanced efficiency wide strip rolling processes and equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of centering each blank before guiding it to rough group of stands during transporting strip on roller table due to coinciding its lengthwise axis with axis of roller table without motion interruption; acting upon lower front side of blank by cross efforts oriented indirection of axis of roller table at side of that edge of roller table to which is shifted during transportation. Wide strip rolling mill includes heating furnace, feeding roller table with cylindrical rollers, group of rough stands and group of finish stands. On cylindrical surfaces of 5 - 10 rollers of feeding roller table arranged in front of inlet of first stand of rough group of stands helical trapezoidal-configuration turnings are formed. Said turnings are narrowed to bottom and have inclination angle of their walls to cylindrical surface in range 30 - 60°, width along bottom of turning 0.05 - 0.15 of roller diameter, depth 0.025 - 0.05 of roller diameter and pitch equal to 0.6 - 1.2 of roller diameter. Necessary efforts acting upon blanks are created due to forming left-thread helical turnings in one end of roller and right-thread turnings converging to center on other end of roller. Each roller is mounted in roller table in such a way that at right side (according to rolling process direction) of roller table rolled end with left-thread is arranged and at left side (according to rolling process direction) right-thread end of roller is arranged.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method due to shortened time period for rolling each blank.
