METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF THE POWDER OF THE TITANYL PHOSPHATE OF THE ALKALI METAL Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C01G23/00 C01B25/00

Abstract RU 2307073 C1

FIELD: chemical industry; ceramics industry; power industry; methods of production of the powder of titanyl phosphate of the alkali metal.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of the powder of titanyl phosphate of the alkali metal and may be used in production of the ferroelectric ceramics. The powder of titanyl phosphate of the alkali metal is produced by interaction in the water medium of the source compounds of titanium, the alkali metal and phosphorus at the temperature of from 60°С up to the boiling temperature of working suspension. Interaction of the source compounds is conducted at the redundant molar ratio of the alkali metal to titanium, at the molar ratio of phosphorus to titanium of (1.05-3.0 : 1). At that the concentrations of the alkali metal CM and the ions of hydrogen СH+ are tied by the ratio of CM/CH+≥ 104. The formed solid phase of titanyl phosphate of the alkali metal is separated, washed and dried. As the alkali metal use potassium, rubidium, cesium, as the binding of the alkali metal - the water-soluble substance selected from the group including its phosphate, chloride, sulfate. The titanium compound is selected from the group including titanium tetrachloride, titanium oxohydroxide, titanium oxochloride, titanyl sulfate, titanyl monohydrophosphate. As the phosphorus compound use the alkali metal phosphate or the phosphoric acid. The invention allows to reduce coarseness of the crystalline powder of titanyl phosphate of the alkali metal at its production in the water suspension up to 30-46 nanometers, to exclude the thermal treatment and usage of the dehydrant.

EFFECT: the invention allows to reduce coarseness of the crystalline powder of titanyl phosphate of the alkali metal at its production in the water suspension up to 30-46 nanometers, to exclude the thermal treatment and usage of the dehydrant.
