FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining titanium-silicon sodium-containing composition, which includes mixing titanium-containing and silicon-containing components, addition of sodium hydroxide solution with obtaining suspension, exposure of suspension in hermetic conditions at increased temperature with formation of titanium-silicon sodium-containing half-product, its washing and thermal processing. Initial components are taken in solid form in molar ratio TiO2:SiO2=1:0.4-1.0, with activated metal powder being added into mixture in amount 1.0-1.5% with respect to TiO2, obtained mixture is exposed in mode of high-speed dispersion for 30-100 minutes, after which sodium hydroxide solution with concentration 100-250 g/l is added until pH 10-12 is provided.
EFFECT: increase of photocatalytic and sorptive characteristics of titanium-silicon sodium-containing composition due to increased degree of transition of structure-forming titanium and silicon components into finished product, as well as improvement of method environmental friendliness.
