FIELD: electrochemistry; methods of the electrolytic dissolution of the alloys of the platinum metals.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the electrolytic dissolution of the metals and alloys and may be used for dissolution of the powders of the sheet metal, the scrap of the catalysts, chips of the wire, etc. Dissolution of the alloys of the platinum-containing metals is exercised in thea water solution of the concentrated (6-8 M) hydrochloric acid at the temperature of 60-80°С in the electrolyzer with the anode and cathode rooms separated by the glass diaphragm. At that the electrolysis process conduct in the mode of the pulsing reversible electric current at the alternating switching of the positive and negative sign pulses in the ratio of (20-10) / (5-1). The technical result of the invention consists in the increased efficiency of the dissolution and stability of the process.
