FIELD: ELECTROLYTIC PROCESSES. SUBSTANCE: method involves hydrochloric acid treatment in electrolytic cell with soluble anode from initial material and insoluble cathode. Cell is separated by cation-exchange membrane into anode and cathode chambers. Process is carried out in 6-8 N HCl at 50-110 C, acid concentration being maintained constant under controlled-potential or controlled-voltage (2.5-8 V) conditions at current density 0.3-7.0 A/sq.dm.
