SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to radar and can be used for measuring angular coordinates of objects. Technical outcome is achieved by that, angular coordinates of an object are refined after initial measurement. For this purpose the two-dimensional angular packet of detected signals from the object is compared with standard two-dimensional angular packets of signals, pre-calculated for the same type of view at different angular positions of the object, given in the neighbourhood of initially determined angular coordinates of the object. Boundaries of the above mentioned neighbourhood are defined by error in initial determination of angular coordinates of the object. From results of comparing using an accepted category, a standard two-dimensional angular packet of signals is chosen, closest to the generated two-dimensional angular packet of detected signals. After this angular coordinates of the object, corresponding to the chosen standard two-dimensional angular packet of signals, are used as corrections to angular coordinates of the object.

EFFECT: more accurate measurement of angular coordinates with limited time of measurement.
