FIELD: radio communications; generation of phase-keyed, amplitude-keyed, and amplitude/phase-keyed signals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has multifrequency-signal source, reactive four-terminal network, semiconductor diode, and low-frequency control-voltage supply. Four-terminal network is made in the form of two arbitrarily interconnected reactive two-terminal networks. Semiconductor diode is inserted in cross-connected circuit between carrier signal source and four-terminal network input; connected in parallel with diode is low-voltage control signal source. Resistance of multifrequency signal source is arbitrarily chosen; connected to output of four-terminal network is load for through-pass multifrequency signals with arbitrary resistances at preset number of interpolation frequencies of required frequency responses. Two-terminal networks are made or arbitrarily interconnected reactive components whose quantity is chosen to be minimum same as that of preset interpolation frequencies of desired amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency responses; parameters of reactive components are chosen to ensure desired correlation between modules and transmission gain phase differences at preset number of frequencies in two states of semiconductor diode governed by two extreme levels of control signal.
EFFECT: ability of providing different mechanisms for varying amplitude and phase of through signals with extreme characteristics at preset number of fixed frequencies, with keyer inserted between arbitrary resistors.
