FIELD: data transmission systems.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, graphic channel is tested through test data service option, which may synchronized and connected similarly to other services. Values of test parameters may be suggested, confirmed or denied and synchronized. Test data for channel are generated on basis of certain data sample or generator of pseudo-random numbers. Sufficient test data may be generated on basis of generator during testing time span, be stored in buffer and then restored from certain section of buffer for generation of block (blocks) of data from each "active" frame. Graphic channel may be tested using discontinuous transmission. Markov chain with two states determines whether to transfer test data for each frame or not. Average activity of frame and average value of packet length are determined by means of probability selection for switch between ON/OFF states of Markov chain, which may be controlled by a second generator.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of resource usage.
