FIELD: chemical industry; gas-processing industry; other industries; methods of the fine purification of the inert gases from the gaseous impurities.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the production methods of the sorption purification of the gases and may be used for production of the inert gases. The method includes the three-stage process of decomposition of the impurities: at the first stage - the easily destroyed oxygen-containing gases at the temperature of 700-740°С, at the second stage - carbon-containing and nitrogen-containing gases at the temperature of 820-850°С, at the third stage - hydrogen-containing gases at the temperature of 300-350°С, with adsorption of the products of decomposition at each stage by the absorber - the activated metallic titanium. As the absorber it is possible to use the powder of the titanium of the fraction of 1.0±0.315 mm. The whole process of decomposition of the impurities is conducted under the pressure of 4-20 atm. The offered method allows to increase the degree of the inert gases purification for the hydrogen-containing gases at maintaining the high degree of purification from other gaseous impurities, to increase the service life of the absorber and the used equipment, and also to reduce the power input.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased degree of the inert gases purification for the hydrogen-containing gases at maintaining the high degree of purification from other gaseous impurities, the increased service life of the absorber and the used equipment, the reduced power input.
