FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has opposed top and bottom surfaces and two pairs of opposed lateral surfaces arranged there between. One of said pairs cross said top and bottom surfaces to make major cutting edges while another pair makes minor cutting edges. Note here that said lateral surfaces serve to interact in turns with cutting tool body seat thrust sidewall. To increase cutting efficiency said lateral surface have angular slots confined by two inclined surfaces to interact with cutting tool body seat thrust sidewalls. Note here that said inclined surface are arranged at 70°-100° to each other. Note also that one inclined surfaced in every angular slot interacts with cutting tool body seat thrust wall. Cutting tool body has one or more seats with cutting plate screwed thereto on its rear surface. To increase cutting efficiency cutting tool is equipped with edges fitted on body seats to interact with bottom or lateral surface of cutting plate and seat wedge wall and having taper holes to interact with fastening screw taper head. Note here that body every seat has angular ledges that enter said cutting plate angular slots and angular thrust walls to interact with said inclined surfaces.
EFFECT: higher cutting efficiency.
