FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flying vehicle has body with pilot cabin and engine compartment and annular wings moving in opposite directions. Top and lower annular wings are combined in single structural module by means of load-bearing frame; this module is turnable relative to level perpendicular to flight direction through angle of ±90 deg around flying vehicle body retaining its position in pitch plane. Wing module is turned by means of two opposite aerodynamic control surfaces mounted in wake of top annular wing. Other pair of similar aerodynamic control surfaces is located in axis of turn of wing module to ensure control of vehicle in heading. For creating the lifting force, power of engines is transmitted to top and lower annular wings through coaxial shafts provided with gears secured on their outer ends; these gears are thrown into engagement with racks over wing rim.
EFFECT: enhanced controllability of flying vehicle and enhanced efficiency of annular wings in creating the thrust in direction of flight.
