FIELD: oil transfer terminals and depots.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of automatic control of draining high-viscosity products from tanks, for instance,railway tank cars, using circulation heating systems. To solve the problem, heated products should be circulated in two circuits. At initial cycle product is circulated in recirculation circuit including pump and heat exchanger until its temperature in circuit rises to preset value measured at pump input. Then flow of heated product is gradually directed from recirculation circuit into heating circuit in which product is delivered to bottom part of tank through nozzles pointed inwards. When temperature reaches preset value, product is directed into tank farm until pressure at pump input drops below normal value.
EFFECT: reduced duration of draining of viscous products from tank and consumption of power, improved efficiency of draining control.
