FIELD: glass industry; other industries; production of the glass cutters.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the manual tools for the glass sheets cutting. The technical result of the invention is expansion of functionalities, increase of reliability of the glass cutter operation, simplification of its design and the improved process of its manufacture. For this purpose the glass cutter includes: holder and the cutting head mounted in its pit and consisting of the similar diameter of the internal and external round-type disks, which are connected among themselves and with the holder by the screw with the possibility of turning around it with respect to the holder; the cutting rollers connected with the disks and fixed between the disks on the shafts; the faceted shank end of the external disk located in the corresponding faceted nest of the internal disk. At that the screw threading is located in the faceted shank end of the external disk. In the cross-section the external disk is made stepped with the height of a step, which exceeds the thickness of each cutting roller located on the periphery of the step. On the face side of the external disk there is the deepening identical to the form of the step in the plane of the external disk. On the internal side of the holder facing the internal disk there is the annular groove, in which the end of each shaft of fastening of the cutting roller is placed, and the ratio of the diameter "d" of the cutting roller to the diameter "D" of the cutting head is chosen from the condition of d=D(0.2÷0.5).

EFFECT: the invention ensures expansion of the functionalities, the increased reliability of the glass cutter operation, simplification of its design and the improved process of its manufacture.
