SUBSTANCE: omnidirectional spherical television antenna with its wire frame vibrators made in the form of orthogonally arranged circles with a perimeter equal to the wavelength λmax, with combined diameters along the antenna axis and open upper sides, the open ends of the vibrators in pairs are connected and connected to the input terminals of the amplifier, a supporting metal tubular rack is located along the antenna axis, and the metal wire horizontal diameters connected to the sides of the frame vibrators are open in centres, connected in pairs with a shift of 90 degrees relative to the connections of the upper sides of the vibrators and coaxial cables laid inside a tubular metal rack, are also connected to the input terminals of the amplifier.
EFFECT: provision of a broad band of operating frequencies with a decrease in SWR over the entire operating range, an increase in mechanical reliability and manufacturability while reducing material consumption.
