FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out cytological study of biopsy material. The treatment is considered to be effective, if polynuclear hystiocytes and reactive fibrocytes changes are detected in tissue under study. 4-6 months later, reactively changed thyroid gland epithelium is detected and in 7-9 months, thyroid gland tissue regeneration is observed in biopsy material. The treatment is considered to be ineffective, if no said changes are observed at some of cytological study stages.
EFFECT: enabled treatment effectiveness estimation; differentially based necessity of repeated intervention; simplified method.
