FIELD: chemical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for dispensing catalysts into reactor, which method comprises slurring catalyst in hydrocarbon by mixing in receiver to provoke resulting slurry to travel through three-way metering valve and ejector directly into reactor. More particularly, catalyst-containing slurry is first unloaded from the receiver by means of pulp and subjected to continuous circulation to return slurry into receiver through three-way metering valve over closed conduit system, after which receiver is set to a pressure by 0.1 to 30 bar superior to that in reactor and, owing to pulsing functioning of three-way metering valve now in open position, slurry is continuously fed to reactor through flowmeter, which controls the valve, and ejector in series connected thereto. Scheme of dispensing device is presented. Invention assure continuous and uniform supply of catalyst to reactor wherein introduction of foreign impurities into reaction zone is almost completely excluded and measurement of metered catalyst intake is thus enabled.

EFFECT: increased working reliability and limiting service time of dispensing device containing essentially no moving parts with large-area sealed surfaces.
